well when England get knocked out I'm gonna sit back and smirk all those who were so adamant England were going to win with ease. Out by the quarter finals I predicted a long time ago and stick with that. Then I'm going to hoist up my Scotland flag and proudly declare that at least we Scotland fans dont have high aspirations. We celebrate if we win the toss of the coin for kick off. We celebrate just turning up. We celebrate when LJC buys a round (which is the rarest event of all 3)

theres always going to be some morons who give everyone a bad name, but for the most part fans are well behaved. Its like the 100 or so England fans who caused trouble in Germany in the last 24hrs. A small minority spoil it for everyone else and give everyone else the same reputation. I hope those responsible for beating up that kid get whats coming to them. Rivalry should be about jovial banter and wind ups with no maliciousness.

Our next door neighbours have a large England sticker on the whole of one side of their wheelie bin I'm saying nowt.... could probably think of some witty remark but... won't.... After seeing brief bits of the Argentina Mexico game, sorry folks, but... As for the terrible Scotland incident, it will be a few morons as Shaggy has said, a real shame... no doubt alcohol fueled... as was the trouble in Germany! Argue with the German Police, errr having lived over there.. NO THANKS! Trust me, the trouble makers will have got what they deserved!! I think what grates most is the 'non footie' fans who are now running around with the full 'kit' on... even dafter when they try to talk about the game..... One bloke asked me what I thought of the new England goalkeeper, Peter Crouch? I rest my case M'Lord... Good luck to England this afternoon, hope they win the World Cup but won't be too upset if they don't!! Prog Paul

BRIEF ENCOUNTER Me and Mrs Boatwoman were heading through Stourbridge last night on the way to a gig at the Rock Cafe. We saw a shop-window displaying women's knickers and men's boxers with England designs on the front....
We didn't notice any other nationalities, although some looked like French knickers or Swedish 'draws' and some were very scanty and may well have been Brazillian... Anyway, so far the English ones have at least stayed up!
Okay this subject is pants I know...

Prog Paul In some cases - perhaps better than running round with their 'kit off' eh Paul? ;D Reminds me of a song called D'ya by the Bluehorses! "We're all having so much fun, dancing with our kit off like a flower, in the morning sun!!!!" ;D
