Watchmen - ST (2006) Let me start by saying "anyone into Whitesnake is gonna love this album" This band are from Buenos Aries, Argentina and released this album last year, and what an album it is. The whole album reminds you of Whitesnake, apart from track 3 which reminds me of Matt Mitchell and Pride. The playin's is superb and special mention has to go to the guitarist Emmanuel Lopez, god can this guy play. A very special mention has to go to vocalist Ivan Sencion who is not only superb but reminds the listener of a rather well known vocalist called David Coverdale. I could rant on with a load of waffle about how good this album is, but all i need to say is, this album is AWESOME. If i had heard this last year it would of been a contender for album of the year. As it is, i'm hearing it this week for the first time, and i can safely say it's one of the best albums i've heard this year. To my ears this is as good as anything Whitesnake have put out. I'll actually go out on a limb here and say it's maybe even better, i kid you not. SUPERB, FANTASTIC, AWESOME, LOVE IT

Loads of Steelheart Happy Birthday Mili Matijevic I didn't know it was Mili's Birthday, but by coincidence, the first thing that came up on my MP3 this morning as I travelled to work on the bus, was.....Steelheart! ;D

Crazy Lixx - Loud Minority (2007) This is the debut album from this Swedish band, released last month on Swedmetal Records www.swedmetal.com/What's on offer is one of the finest slices of melodic sleaze rock you'll here. Production duties are handled by Chris Laney (of Zan Clan and Animal fame)and what a job he's done, the sound on this album is massive. You have 11 tracks in total, all filled with big hooks and melodies, accompanied by big layered backing vocals and not one filler to be had. The first track "Hell Or High Water" with it's Skid Row type riff starts the show and it keeps gettin' better. Other highlights include "Dr Hollywood", "Want It" "Make Ends Meet" which starts off as a ballad before turning into a melodic rock gem, "Do Or Die","Heroes Are Forever" hell every track is good, as i said, not 1 filler. This is one of the best debut albums you'll here, by this young Swedish band. Who said the 80's were dead, not a chance, they're alive and well and rockin' in Sweden www.crazylixx.com/ www.myspace.com/crazylixxmusic
