Thanks Janette, though I'm not sure what photobucket is and how do I copy a URL ? Is the URL the directory name of the file ?
I scanned in the photos from prints. I can open them in Corel, Paint, Powerpoint etc, but it doesn't give the URL name on the screen to copy. Most picture upload proceedures just require me to flick through the files on my PC, click and upload
And yes, I am the cyberwhizz of our band !!
Maybe if anyone wants close up photos of WigWam & Fair Warning or a wider shot of Gotthard (not so good) then they can email me at craigian.chapman@virgin.net and I'll send them the jpegs

Hi Craig. If you can hang on for a while, we're just gonna have dinner, Jacqui will take you through the whole 'Photobucket' thing with you afterwards

He's disappeared!!!
Anyway, how to Photobucket with confidence:
Step 1: Get yourself a Photobucket account
Step 2: Download or scan the pictures you want to kindly share and save them to your desired location on your pc or lippy lap-top. If necessary, resize the image - a maximum of 400 pixels either height or width is usually good, but make sure the quality of the image isn't going to be compromised.
Step 3: Log on to your recently aquired Photobucket account.
Step 4: You should see a section titled 'Upload Images & Videos'. Click on the 'BROWSE' button. A new 'Choose File' window should open.
Step 5: Locate the picture you want to share and double-click on it. This should automatically enter in the correct box on Photobucket. At this stage you can choose to upload more than one image by clicking on the 'add more images' link (funnily enough ;D).
Step 6: Click the 'UPLOAD' button and wait. Your images will then appear as thumbnails in your Photobucket album, with 3 options underneath each one - URL, TAG and IMG.
Step 7: Copy the IMG of the image you want to share, paste it in the message you want to share it in and, all being well, Robert, as they say, is indeed your mother's brother.
Have fun!!

They are the smaller versions !! I opened them in Corel but had to save to jpegs in Paint and they just sort of come out big

Well if you've reduced 'em from what they were, then that is indeed an achievement!

Right, seeing as every TV in our damn house seems to have bloody Ant, Dec and a load more ZZ listers inducing even mores ZZZZs, I'll reduce them even more so that nice Mr Price can delete the previous attempt and save some bite space for more worthy fodder.
