Hangover cure (tried & tested, believe me! ;D) 1 x bottle Sprite (cold) 1 x egg & bacon sarnie (on brown) 1 x packet Minstrels Additional bottles of Sprite (as required) Plus Panadol Extra by the handful LOL Extemely bad idea to have any kind of painkiller with a hangover ..you`ve already given your liver a battering and these just do extra damage, plus upset your stomach even more. Best hangover cure is water...and lots of it. I do the water thing as well ;D (hence drinking water all day at both previous Firefests, and Z Rock ROFL)

Working on the basis that prevention is better than cure, ideally, I try not to get to the stage where I'm gonna get a hangover in the first place! ;D I Drink alcoholic drinks interspersed with soft drinks or water. If this fails I drink a pint of water and take paracetemol on "retiring", if I'm too far gone to remember to do this, lots of orange juice next morning usually works (something to do with the vitamin C I think)

yeah I rented some orange juice once after a beach party one year. Having spent all night drinking Southern Comfort, I woke with a monster hang over and feeling very delicate to say the least. At about 7am, me and the rest of the party gang made our way back to the cars parked on the cliff top and to the cafe that had just opened up. Whilst queueing up to place my order I needed to "remove" some excess alcohol and beat a hasty retreat behind the bushes by the cliff to look for my old mate Huey (or was it Rolf and Bert, can't remember). Anyway I digress, so having lost some contents, I walked groggily back to the cafe and when the owner asked me what I would like, I asked for the key to the toilet. I rushed in and got rid of more Southern Comfort. Wearily I returned and ordered some orange juice. Sat there with a head pounding and my mouth feeling like the bottom of a budgie's cage (all sand and grit), I tried to make like a vampire and avoid the sunlight. My friends were devouring their cooked breakfast of runny eggs, greasy bacon, and all manner of cholesterol laden morsels. Within 5 minutes, I found myself by the bushes again, spraying orange juice at full velocity onto the rocks below. Its amazing how much orange juice you can actually return from just a small glass full. I reckon water would be the best option.

I'm with you Alison. I don't drink alcohol very much at all, so it doesn't take alot to get me drunk. Seeing that I'll be driving home the next morning, I'll have a couple of pints, and then move onto either water or pepsi. Sorry to be a spoilsport, but mine and Jacqui's safety comes first

I never drink between drinks now. My motto is similar to that of Mr P - why have a six pack when you can have the whole barrel.... ok I'm in deep trouble now and bang goes my requests for the next 3 months
