Ah - found the info I needed so just booked my hotel! What hotel are you staying at Janette? We've booked the hotel at the Marina. Think you all stayed there for the last Firefest. Is the "Marina" one the Holiday Inn Express?

Hey Shaggy - you bringing cake again? They got mini bars ;D LMAO ;D I dont think I'll be doing that again in a hurry. Them mini bars are bugged. Trouser presses are far better for storing chocolate cakes ;D Is anyone having a birthday on the 28th October from our unruly mob of party animals? If so, I'll get Sarah to get me a cake and we'll ask them at the reception desk to store it this time.

3 if you're staggering along in stiletto rock boots ;D tell me about it. Oh my poor feet when I got back to the hotel. Never again. In future I will stick to crawling back to a hotel room on my hand and knees. So I gather you'll be wearing your FMB's then? ROFLMAO ;D I'll be wearing my FMS's ;D ;D ;D ;D

Do they have a marina in Nottingham? So the hotel home page say's, "it's situated in a quiet retail park with adjoining marina". It looks ok, and is only a mile away from the city centre ;D

I remember staying in the Crown Plaza last time, and I'm pretty sure it was only about £45 a night. Looking on the website it now seems to be over 70 squids a night (single room). Does anyone know a way to get rooms cheaper there (discount hotel websites?). It's a nice hotel anyway, and really convenient for Rock City.
