The best bands for me were Soul Doctor ;D on the Friday night and Valentine on the Saturday ;D Must say the Students Union was an excellent venue liked the sofas in the foyer ;D Was a bit disappointed with Jorn , I was expecting something more like the performance we had last year from Gotthard but he has an amazing voice and the guitarist was awesome ;D Did not see much of the first band as they had already started when we arrived due to the doors opening late and long q Maybe next year the doors could open half an hour before the first band starts, so everyone can get in and settled Must agree with earlier comments about the rock city venue, it was rather packed and no where to sit, apart from upstairs where you could not see the stage My legs/feet/back were all aching by the end of the night, which rather spoiled the last band It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit down while the bands were changing over Not to criticize the organizers, they did a brilliant job of getting the show on the road ;D just the venue was disappointing Was nice to see all the peeps form last year, sorry we did not see much of you during the course of the weekend Look forward to seeing Liz and Nick at the Brough Christmas disco ;D hope you can make it ;D

I enjoyed it . I enjoyed everyone that appeared, but as far as Im concerned I think Valentine were just too much like Journey 'The Perry Years'...thats just my opinion though I like the fact that people can come and go from the venue as they please all day...although I was in the seating area upstairs and because i have a few problems of late with various things , balance being one. and need a walking stick it was a little difficult navigating the stairs as many people were using them as a platform to see the bands, so there was nowhere i could hold onto...I only went down the stairs once all day to use the little girls room...so i think the term 'water bomb' could be used for me by the end of the night! ...I think that was the only down part of it for me... Oh and the fact that try as I know he did LJC didn't manage to get Jorn's autograph for me. But on the whole I reallly really enjoyed my day, it was nice to see Nick, Liz, Janette..to finally meet Alison and also to meet Woody very briefly when I ventured down the stairs with Shaggy, and of course just to see everyone in the place having a great time! And I have to say too, breakfast in the Crowne Plaza was yummy! Can't wait do it again next year Firefest that is. not just breakfast!! LOL

Firefest IV... I had a brilliant time there enjoyed every minute of it. The one-way system in Notts was a little bit of a nightmare but hopefully I will for the next Firefest have a TomTom or Satnav.
The venue was packed out and the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant
