Been listening to a lot of varied stuff lately (not sure if I should admit some of it on 'ere! ;D) but so far this week it's been: Dante Fox - Under the Seven Skies U2 - The Joshua Tree U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind Waysted - Save Your Prayers (DV version of course!) Crowded House - Best Of (sorry if the U2 and Crowded House offend, but I likes 'em! )

H.e.a.t. - H.e.a.t. As i said b4 this album is stunnning from start to finnish, and for me is a surefire contender for album of the year. Both this album and Work Of Art ( just can't tire of this album, also contender for album of the year) are playing constantly. Both are the ideal soundtrack for this gr8 run of fantastic weather we're having over here, blazing sun and temps in the mid 20's here again today, nice!!!

Yesterday whilst travelling to and from W-ton I was mostly listening to Heartland - Mind Your Head Road To Ruin - S/T and Brother Firetribe - Heart Full Of Fire which is very good IMHO apart from the title track...sorry, but it just sounds like Nightwish do Eurovision

This week:
SAIDIAN - For Those Who Walk The Path Forlorn.... (with Royal Hunt style keyboards, DC Cooper era)
GENESIS - Selling England By The Pound
SHOOTING STAR - Silent Scream ... the tune TIME, one of the best AOR tunes
WHITESNAKE - Ready an Willing (re-issue), with Fool for your loving... which I first heard on the top 40 rundown one Sunday...(long time ago) never fails to rock.. defining moment in my music life
MOONSORROW - Tulimyrsky
Well done Portsmouth.... Miss Hazy is very happy!

Judie Tzuke - Left Hand Talking (Cherry Red remaster) - especially the title song and Outlaws Anthony Phillips - The Geese & The Ghost (Voiceprint remaster) and Wildlife (collection of his 90's TV soundtrack work) Eels - Meet The Eels (bought this after seeing the Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives programme about Mark Everett's quest to find out more about his estranged father) Love - Da Capo and Forever Changes (Elektra remasters) - I love 'Seven & Seven Is' which must be my 'drown out Eastenders' song of the week, and 'Red Telephone' was the inspiration for the Bonzos' 'We Are Normal'! ;D Mike Rutherford - Smallcreep's Day - Ashley Franklin was right about the shoddy packaging on this CD, and they didn't even include 'Compression' (b-side of Working In Line) which is begging to be segued into Nightmare from Anthony Phillips's 'Sides'! The Doughnut In Granny's Greenhouse - Bonzos

Marcello Vestry - ST (Jap Import) OMG i have just listened to 1 AWESOME album, i love D2 but Bruno,Steve and Ted are gonna have to pull 1 outta the bag to top this. From the opening track "Fireworks" it's one melodic rock fest right to the end. This along with Work Of Art and H.e.a.t. is 1 of the best releases you will hear this year, and i strongly recommend you get this at all costs
