Hi All, OK then something a bit different this year. We've 'narrowed' the field down to 26 tracks....   All you have to do is vote for your favorites. If you don't want to vote here then please submit your votes to paulbaker@arfm.co.uk You are restricted to one vote on this poll, but we will allow you to vote for up to 3 songs (so two extra), if you submit your votes via email Voting will close on 18th December 08. Results and the top 5 will be broadcast on a special show sometime over the (looks to make sure the Tea Lady isn't about as it is a bit early to mention), Christmas holiday period. If you do hear a new track that grabs your ear (he says as the new Martin Orford album drops through the letterbox! ;D) and you think it deserves a place in the poll then please let us know. We will try and fit in all of the tracks between now and 18th Dec, but if you want to hear a specific track then please let us know. Cheers. Paul B & Ralph R |

A sign of the Credit Crunch perhaps that It Bites are at the top of the poll! Pity Pendragon didn't release their album earlier it is my fave album of 2008 with some excellent long tracks. They have entered Porcupine Tree terrirtory along with the Pink Floyd influences. Lyrically and musically on the pulse! Still, I am still voting for Glass Shadows as my best track of 2008! |
