We got back from this gig at 3am this morning,it was worth it though. The Roadhouse is a small venue in the heart of Covent Garden, holding 300 or so I would say. After meeting the guys we were treated to a playback of the new album Metropolis which sounds like a surefire winner to us.After a support set from some student type guys(don't know the name),FM came on at 21:00.The setlist was an absolute dream greatest hits with new tracks. The sound was absolutely superb,Steve's voice was perfect, they seemed more relaxed than when we last saw them at Firefest. The crowd lapped it up for 90 mins. The setlist was something like this: Wildside Face To Face That Girl Don't Stop Jim Guitar Solo Over You Flamingo Road Only The Strong Survive Blood and Gasoline Dangerous Hard Day In Hell Burning My Heart Down I Heard It Through The Grapevine Frozen Heart Bad Luck Feel Like Making Love
Top night,Amanda had a seat so was happy, girl behind the bar sure knew how to work a bar,was like a scene out of cocktail, but entertaining for some. Nice to see Mr P. again it had been a while.A great day out,the album is going to be a must buy.
