Is it just me, or do other fans of Transatlantic think 'The Whirlwind' was partially inspired by this film? Steve Carell, as Evan (the anchorman from 'Bruce Almighty', Bruce's nemesis) is inspired to build an ark thanks to a message from God as he attempts to stand for government. Everybody else thinks he's losing it as he tells them of an approaching flood. It's not as good as the preceding film. But now when Neal Morse sings about 'dancing with eternal glory', I'm going to think of Evan doing his little house dance in the scene where the family moved to their new home - your typical 'dad dance'!
