PRAYING MANTIS: Performance, Interview Footage From SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL
Quality video footage of NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) legends PRAYING MANTIS performing the song "Captured City" at the Sweden Rock Festival, which was held June 9-12 in Sölvesborg in southern Sweden, can be viewed below. Also available is an interview with the band conducted at the event by CrankItUp.se.
Commented PRAYING MANTIS: "The live set on [Sweden Rock Festival's Dio Stage which took place June 11th was dubious due to the weather, but the sun soon came out and we had so much fun rocking. For the Saturday acoustic set on the Rockklassiker Stage, we were outstanded by the amount of people who came out and supported us and also joined in with the singing. We really appreciate you all, thank you again and look forward to seeing you very shortly."
PRAYING MANTIS's latest studio album, "Sanctuary", was released in Europe in June 2009 via Frontiers Records (July 2009 in the U.S.). The CD was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia under the direction of producer/engineer Andy Reilly (ASIA, THE CULT, BRUCE DICKINSON, FM, etc).
