With the doors having only just closed on Z Rock 2006 at Crewe Limelight, Z records have announced details of Z Rock 2006 Part II that will take place at Dudley JB's on Sunday September 24th. To date only one act is confirmed, which is Toby Jepson former frontman of the Little Angels and a further five or six acts will be added shortly. Tickets for the show will go on sale April 18th!

Well having seen Tobes 3 times over the recent Thunder tour I can confirm that he's still really bloody good! God haven't these flippin' northerners ever heard of the south tho? ;D Why is it always bloody Crewe! Reckon they'll have DV on again? (here's hoping!)

Why is it always bloody Crewe! Its not my dear...Dudley is in the West Midlands...close to Wolverhampton and Birmingham....Crewe is in Cheshire, north but not as north as Hull (which is technically north east) Geography lesson over...for now ;D

As much as I agree with Janette about seeing some of these show's being put on 'darn sarf'.........JB's is an excellent venue. I saw D2 there when they toured with Paul Laine, and the place was great. Lot's of parking, roomy inside and a great view of the stage. And, it doesn't take very long to get there either. About 2-3 hrs by car

Yebbut - I don't drive! I like to fly to gigs, therefore let 'em be *really* oop north, or in Ireland or Scotland ;D I saw Thunder in Birmingham once, it took me SEVEN HOURS to get there from Brighton! That's what puts me off. However - if needs must, then so be it

Yebbut - I don't drive! I like to fly to gigs Birmingham International Airport then. then jump on the train from there into New Street and there are plenty of connections to Dudley Big hotel close by to JBs too. And if you get to Dudley early enough you can always go see the wild animals just up the road from JBs (not the local chavs - I meant the ones in the zoo... in cages - then again.....) Oh and a brilliant chipshop that's not far from the venue that does whopping huge savaloys. Lenny Henry was born in Dudley. ok that's the end of the Dudley Tourism advert.

Shaggy, I can tell you're not a frequent flyer from Gatwick Airport........ ;D No flights to Brum from Gatwick! Wah! Looks like the train! Hmmmmmm - Eden, isn't that the lot Nick from Kick is with now? Saw Kick a couple of times when they supported Thunder in erm..........99? 2000? Argh - can't remember. Think they were on at Phoenix Rising in 2000 when I went up there to see Vaughn, again, can't remember and that's a helluva lot of vodka ago ;D Think I even have one of their albums lurking around somewhere! "whopping huge saveloys"? OMG I could comment on that.........but I won't
