Thanks for the feedback both. I'm new to this interviewing lark but it makes my job so much easier when people open up rather than replying in single sentences. Maggie was so lovely to talk to. Talking of interviews, I had a great chat with Mike Estes & Garry Nutt of Skinny Molly last night. That'll be aired soon. Also interviews over the next couple of weeks (hence my absence next Saturday) with Walt Kulwicki and Dave Besley of Those Guys, Greg Lee of Chain Lightning and Molly Hatchet's Bobby Ingram, Dave Hlubek, John Galvin & Phil McCormack. Phew!

'fraid so Lee. They played The Half Brick in Worthing last Saturday and The Abrahams Stadium in Finchley last night, both gigs were given a fair old plug. It's the second time in six months they've toured here which is a rare honour for any Southern band to grace these shores as opposed to mainland Europe and I spoke to Mike about that. You'll hear the response during the interview (not going to give that away) but Garry has family here in Hampshire so he gets to see them. Incidentally, only 50% of Skinny Molly made the tour. Guitarist Keith Whalen and drummer Kurt Pietro were denied permits and sent back on the next available flight so stand-ins were hastily drafted in. I'm going to bone Hatchet as to why they pulled (again) three tentative dates in the UK after Sweden this year.
