Paul, if you have hayfever and you cut the lawn, could this be a cue for the song: I fought the 'lawn' and the 'lawn' won!? Seriously I do sympathise, pollen really gets up my nose too! From a ‘corny’ perspective I expect many crops see us humans as 'cereal' killers. ;D As for the story you told of the dead man they found in a barrel of rum, I guess it gave the drink some extra body! Some would say this comment is in poor taste. Quite enjoyed the Black Widow song not come across them before. Great to hear ELP and Spooky Tooth, powerful synth-driven rock, not arf! Listening to your show today (Wednesday) as we are on holiday in Devon and it is raining, (Supertramp and Led Zep songs come to mind). So we are chilling out and listening to your show, we missed it Saturday (d'oh!) as we were heading down the motorway in the afternoon, whilst it was quiet with most people indoors watching football.

Thanks for playing Chain Lightning's - 'You Just Wanna Rock' and reading out the dedication, I requested for all the ARfm forum members out there in listener land, whose humour and banter keep us all sane, in a mad kind of way! Great to hear Gilmour! And the superb Here Comes The Flood by Peter Gabriel which is very apt at the moment as the rain continues! At this rate we will be floating across Dartmoor....
