Tara's Secret, Dante Fox & Kinn will be playing JB's on the saturday 21st. doors open 7.30 first band on at 8, £5 on the door.
here's the statement from JB's homepage....
As some people have already booked hotels and travel we at JBs have decided with the help of ...TARA'S SECRET.. ...DANTE FOX...and..KINN... to put on a event Admission just £5 .....All Rockfest Ticket Holders Will Be Allowed In For Free (your stub will not be taken so you can still get your refund from Mark Owen)...... We Are Sorry That As Rockfest Was Not A JB’s Show For refunds you will need to see Mark Owen.
------------------------------------------------------------
Hope a few peeps decide to join me at JB's for what should be a great night of British Rock, with Tara's Secret one of the hardest working bands in the scene (and nice bunch of guys aswell!) who have just delivered their best album ever "Vertigo" and one of the best Melodic Hard Rock albums of the year. Aswell as Dante Fox who have been on the scene for 20 years now and are fronted by one of the best british vocalist's ever Sue Willets who is tragically underrated and a far more talented singer than many we all go banana's about regularly.......I said to a mate recently if Sue had been on just one mildly succesful / cult album in the 80's she'd be a household name now.
I'm sure both TS and the Fox plan to put on a great rockin' show and hopefully win some new fans but most importantly give everyone a great night out!
Big thumbs up to JB's for giving this a go as it would have been fair easier to stick on a Covers band at such short notice.

Thanks Woodster
Yes, its Tara's Secret + Kinn and hopefully one other - its all been a last minute rush getting JBs to set this up.
Dante Fox won't be playing as their drummer Andy's wife is expecting their first baby that day - we wish them all the best.
Kinn are a very good band and use the stage well.
Tara's Secret will play most, if not all of our new album VERTIGO, as well tracks from Tomorrow The World (2006) and a couple of covers.
This is going to ROCK.

Thought i'd get this posted ASAP so people can get hotel's cancelled ect... I'm sure one of the TS guys will when they have chance get something offcial up here.....i ain't leaving the house next saturday i swear that day is fooking cursed...
JT (TS Drummer) was in a car accident at the weekend and had to be cut out of his car and air lifted to hospital. Whilst JT should be ok, he ofcourse is gonna be in no fit state to play this coming weekend. So best wishes and a speedy recovery to JT and operation pester the crap outta TS is back on......
So as things stand we'll all be watching shite factor next saturday....thank god for ARFM......sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this will hopefully be the last of it and we can look forward to some great gigs coming up in the next few months like Vain , Winger & John Waite!

Thanks Woody
4 days on, JT is pretty bruised and battered but got no major damage. His Lexus on the other hand is cut into Tea Bag sized slices and his cymbal stands were in the boot of his car which was stationary in traffic when hit at approx 50-60mph by some twat who hasn't learned to look out of window yet. We're guessing JT's drum kit will be an interesting shape next time he sets it up.
Kinn are still playing the show if no-one in their band gets beamed off to Mars before saturday. Lets face it, there can't be many more excuses left, for the bands to drop out one by one.
Tara's Secret next playing live ? you tell me !!! This damn country would rather watch a bunch of nobodies warble some old covers to 4 drips sat at a table, than venture out and watch a band write and perform their latest album without the use of backing tracks. I am sure we could prop an acoustic guitar against a wall backstage at X-Factor and it would still be there with rusty strings and dusty body, 12 months later !!
We're quickly running out of venues and crowds it seems. Rockfest collapsed from low ticket sales despite having the likes of JJ on the bill, Firefest was supposedly attended by 70% non UK residents, 34 watched House of Lords at JBs and fewer still at Yardbirds.
Bon Jovi have booked the O2 Arena for the next 3 years and yet I doubt even 10 guys each evening have even heard of ARfm or Firefest, let alone Tara's Secret, who get Bon Jovi after Bon Jovi reference in their album reviews. The next band they'll see after Bon Jovi will be a Bon Jovi tribute !! If that's what they want to do, we can't criticise them, but we could do with the rock media in this country trying a little harder to keep the scene alive and not rely on re-hashing reviews and stories from 20-30 years ago.
