Well last night I went to see this cracking little band at the Manchester Roadhouse. A small intimate venue..the first I`ve ever been to with red glitter walls! We missed the first band - For Tomorrows but the second The Strange Days were like a blues version of Pearl Jam... The on came The Answer - Cormac Nesson sounding like Robert Plant gargling gravel as he launched into Never Too Late, had obviously graduated from the Chris Robinson School of Dance. I was hooked. ;D Paul Mahon on guitar delighted the crowd with his shredding and Micky Walters fingers on the bass just flew. A tight little band worthy of the following they seem to have already attracted..I overheard many people discussing both past and future gigs...I for one am gonna be amongst them. I know some people on here dont like The Answer..Nick had never heard them before but came a way singing their praises.. All I can say is give em a try folks.

Ladies, Ladies..... Or Oi, you two.. naaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Wot's this two of our favourite ladies having a 'handbags at dawn' type moment? For gawds sake kiss and make up... ummm yes kiss in make up, wonder what the answer is to that but I'll alter and cross that bridge when I get to it... Right I'll get me coat... ney, me anorak.. green quilted, with little silver zippers on the pockets and the toggles on the cord on the hood are all chewed..... Ta ta.... Prog (Worried & Twitchy) Paul....

I gotta admit....saw The Answer support AlterBridge at Rock City....with further support from Logan. Logan done themselves a mighty justice by getting the majority crowd on their side, The Answer on the other hand drew Zero response from the crowd....their songs finished & there was just silence....I kid you not. Logan were the unsigned band & The Answer were/are trumpeted as the next big thing......go figure? but without causing a stir, I gotta agree with Janette. Cheers, Pete.

I've not seen either band so can't comment.....really Lee..... Humpfff, show a bit of concern and all you get is ridicule... humpfffff, (sits in corner sulking icon, next to will never understand flippin' women icon!)... Still at least you appear to be talking.... sort of! As for my anorak.. well if you can't beat 'em join 'em I say!! Will probably tell you all the tale of being abandoned to the Collin's by Dastardly (Ralph) & Mutley at Prog Power... one day... maybe... pair of gits!! Prog Paul

ROFL When do me an 'er ever stop flippin' gassing? ;D ;D Does this mean one has to purchase an anorak now in order to look funky and 'in the know' at gigs then? Bugger, I forgot to wear one at Kino last December........
