to soften the blow of todays utterly embarrassing defeat (as highlighted by Mr P at the start of his show), I decided to do myself a comfort meal. So when you lot are feeling down what food gets you back up again?
Heres mine.
Chicken gujons marinated in a small dish of soya sauce;tabasco, lemon and/or lime juice, olive oil. heat up a wok and pour a small amount of oil into it and heat it up. season oil with crushed garlic, onion slices, root ginger. Add the gujons to the wok and season with salt and pepper if ya want. They dont take long to cook, so keep an eye on them and turn them over when the botton half turns white. Next add some chopped chillis, the remainder of the small onion and any crushed garlic you have left on your chopping board, spinach and rocket leaves (just ripped and sprinkled in liberally) and (if you got them) bacon bits. Stir it all in for maybe 2 minutes then they are ready. I served it tonight on a bed of egg noodles, but boiled rice works just as well. Delicious.
Hopefully Mr P will read this and feel really hungry - hehehe
Chef Shaggy.

to soften the blow of todays utterly embarrassing defeat You couldn't possibly soften that defeat Shaggy.......and Birmingham got draw against Chelsea well we got Baggies (lost to Liverpool today thankfully)and then our chum(p)s from small heath at Villa Park in our next 2 games. Must win games now to be certain of Premiership safety. If we can win those we can record a 100% derby success in what is an otherwise dismal season. That is our season now

So when you lot are feeling down what food gets you back up again? As probably the only female on the planet that doesnt like ice-cream, chocolate, biscuits or cake. I`ll go with pickled jalapeno peppers....straight from the jar!
