:-*Just had to say that this station is superb. When it comes to AOR/Melodic rock I'm in a gang on my own!! Most of my mates are into rock music but only the Bon Jovi, Def leppard pop rock, and my Hubby (who's into much heavier stuff) thinks its "pink and fluffy hairdryer C**p". I've been listening to it since the 80's and, living in Nottingham, would be found at Rock City every Friday night with my spandex clad bod and big hair giving it some on the dance floor. Nowdays the spandex has gone (the thought of trying to squeeze my 41 year old body into a pair of spray on tights!! Mind you, the sight of it would probably kill at ten paces), the big hair is still there though and the music just seems to get better. Thans for the music, keep on rocking and long live spandex!!! Cheers, Karen xx

I'm sure SP told me at FF2 that he used to wear Spandex? And that indeed there may be some photographic evidence of this lurking around somewhere? Of course, I could've completely imagined that convo through a haze of vodka, but I don't think so........ ;D (oi admin - when can we have some 'angel face' and 'devil face' smilies - we need 'em! ROFL )

:)Rock City ain't what it used to be but the Rig's not too bad. Enjoyed FF2 there though, although I was a tad worse for where myself!!! Seem to remember Danny Vaughn looking gorgeous as ever. Still, what goes around comes around so it should be about time for an 80'/90's rock revival night down there, hopefully before my hips give up and I start queuing at the PO with the blue rinse brigade waiting to draw my pension!
