INTERESTING STUFF...: Interesting news for those watching the details surrounding the Def Leppard / Journey double bill tour. I heard today that tickets sales are through the roof, including 15,000 alone in St Louis in just 4 days of sales. So successful are the early ticket sales that 20 more dates are being added to the tour with a further possibility of even more dates - taking the tour well into the year. Good going guys...(courtesy of melodicrock.com) Why can't we have this in the UK

both bands are huge sellers in their own right. Reckon this will be THE hot summer tour Stateside. I think the rock fans over there really do get behind the live music scene and seem to happy to support all the rock genres whereas over here people tend to stick to one style. Here you wont find a Megadeth fan going to see Journey, but over there its all just part of the overall rock/metal scene. Plus they make the events more fun with tailgate car park parties, someone usually takes along a bbq set, someone else turns up with a huge ghettoblaster and they have a great time.
