OK who else watched this? ;D Nostalgia at its best! Highlights for me: Double Deckers - wooo Me fave! Like a complete saddo I stood up and did the dance they did in front of the bus and sang all the words - can't believe I still remember 'em! ;D Scooby Doo - gotta love it! Rainbow - pure class - think I still have a cuddly Zippy in the loft somewhere! Dr Who - brilliant! Now who's the best Dr Who? For me, gotta be John Pertwee with Tom Baker a close second. Tiswas - fantastic! Crackerjack - but the one I remember best is the Leslie Crowther one "It's Friday, it's 5 to 5, and it's CRACKERJACK!" Winning a Crackerjack pencil & pen - erm.........WFD! ROFL ;D I know Liz watched it as we had an amusing text convo, in which I discovered the rather worrying fact that Nick used to fancy Destiny from Captain Scarlett ;D ;D ;D Worrying that is until I remembered that I had a thing about Captain Black from the same programme! ;D Tee hee! OMG I used to like Scott Tracy from Thunderbirds too! ;D ;D ;D H R Puffenstuff - WTF was that all about? Loved it at the time, now I just think it's rather bizarre! I recorded it (saddo! ROFL) so I might just have to watch it again to remember some of the other bits! I'll get me coat.............

H R Pufnstuff , what an excellent program, sadly the film was a bit of a let down , but oh how i used to look forward to Saturday mornings & H R Pufnstuff ( witchie poo, jack wilde & the magic flute ) the only thing that came close was The Banana Splits , (Fleagal, Drooper, Bingo & Snorky) i always wanted to have a one of those four wheeled buggys they had, i actually used to work with a guy who was the spit of Bingo , he must have had a hard life ...lol

did ALF get a mention - he rocked. I have 2 ALF toys, 4 pre-recorded videos and loads of videoed tv episodes, and a copy of the film Project: ALF.
Loved the banana splits as a very young 'un and Scooby Doo (minus Scrappy Doo) or and Wacky Races, The Woodentops, Hectors House, Magic Roundabout, Captain Pugwash..... oh happy carefree childhood days....

They had all those Shaggy, except ALF, and Wacky Races for some strange reason? I loved Wacky Races - Anthill Mob were my faves. Gotta love Penelope Pitstop's car tho ROFLMAO ;D ;D ;D Yeah Scooby Doo *has* to be minus Scrappy Doo, he was just a pain in the butt! ;D They didn't have the Smurfs either LOL Now I couldn't stand them but my brother loved them (he's nearly 35 now). How annoying were the Smurfs songs?

Mary Mungo and Midge were indeed there too......
Just thought of one I couldn't stand - Crystal Tips & Alistair.
Oh, here's a weird thing - my kids love their horror movies ie Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, anything like that (crap! LOL), and they love Terminator and stuff like that. Anyway, I was watching this programme with the two youngest last night - they saw John Pertwee as Worzel Gummidge and looked terrified! My daughter hid her face behind a cushion, and my son was saying "urgh! what's that? it's scary!". This from a child who states Texas Chain Saw Massacre as one of his fave films ROFL My daughter also thought Bungle the bear from Rainbow was 'scary' - she thought he was rather disturbing! Kids are so funny aren't they? ;D
