Yep me and Steph' (my wife) find the Lost series intriguing and compelling entertainment. It is filling in the time between waiting for the new Dead Zone series (SciFi channel and Channel 5) which I recommend to everyone! It is based on the Stephen King novel in outline but takes Johnny Smith's powers further and deeper exploring the the what ifs in amazing episode after episode and is both moving, thought provoking and exciting. The 4400 is quite good. There is another series about a medium that helps detectives which started last week and is in similar vein to the Dead Zone only it is nowehere as good and more shallow, perhaps a bit too tongue in cheek. Anyone seen these?

Yep I enjoy The 4400, looking forward to the new series which starts soon. Also love Hex (altho I thought the ending was stupid in the last series) and looking forward to that coming back. What about Revelations? I loved that, but again thought the ending was stupid. My fave programme is coming back in October - and here I lose all my street cred (if I ever had any in the first place ;D ;D) Dream Team! Bloody hilarious and compulsive viewing for the most ridiculous storylines ever Cheers Janette

Well, errrrr, hmmm, what can I say? I hate Lost. There we go, well, its true I do. Dont believe ProgPaul when he says I love it, I find it tedious and boring (maybe im just too lazy and cant be bothered to think while watching tv.)
I think even my bro has gone off it now, and he was obsessed when it first started!

Started this week, wednesday i think, 9pm sky one, and its also repeated on sky two on friday nights.
That freaky pattern thing at the end when the camera zoomed, and and all the cars were in the weird pattern, that freaked me out.

Right - now Series One has finished....... let's have some theories! (if anyone is still watching it LOL ;D) Ok then............why do you think 'the others' wanted Walt? One of my mates thinks Walt is the key to the whole thing, cos he's a bit dodgily psychic or sommat What do you think is down the hatch? I think the thing that got Locke was some sort of machine, when he was being pulled thru the jungle just before Jack grabbed him when he fell down that hole, it sounded like a chain being wound up? Or am I just mad? ROFL ;D Can't make Locke out, is he a goodie or a baddie? or just a weirdo? Shannon drives me mad, can't see the point of her character. Claire's accent/voice annoys me but I like her. I like Kate, and Sun. Sawyer is the totty IMHO (phwoar) altho Jack ain't bad. Apparently Charlie and Kate are partners in real life? Opinions please! I'm sure I can't be the only one still watching it.......and if anyone has seen any of Series Two already, DON'T TELL ME! ;D

Jacqui still watches it, but she's just finished watching Season 2, Episode 9. We're both looking forward to a new series starting on ITV2 tonight at 9 called 'Supernatural'. It's been getting rave reviews in America.

[glow=purple,2,300]L O S T [/glow] www.tv.com/lost/show/24313/summary.htmlJust when you thought we'd 'lost' the thread or the plot, it is back. It is a gripping series indeed! Keeps you guessing and speculating each time! Great stuff and a friend of ours from the States has seen the new episodes and annoyingly hints that it gets even more intrigung! It reminds me in a way of The Prisoner series of the 60s, in that it has the same kind of mind-games and potential for endless speculation the frustration of trying to escape and the eerie feeling that they are all part of some experiement. The amazing thing is the use of flash-backs so you find out more and more about the individuals and you start to make connections, you see clues in the background shots.... I also like the fact that they have humour in it, especially with Sawyer he is a great character. Locke is someone who you feel really sorry for and yet also you are kind of wary of him too. Like, Prison Break this series is one you can re-watch and see more detail each time. It is like a Russian Doll with each episode revealing something more and the depth increases. Fave character Hurley. They are re-running the first series on Channel 4.
