Hi All, I'm afraid I'm with Lee on this one.... Lots of hype and build up but little substance to the story... How are they going to stretch it out over 24 weeks (episodes)..... Having said that, my 'lads' loved it, but the Tea Lady and I were not that impressed. Polar Bears on a tropical island, what ever next!! (Didn't there used to be a kids cartoon about a Polar Bear and other animals on a floating island? Noah's Island or something?) Cheers Prog Paul

Woo hoo!! Part 3 tonight . This has really gripped my imagination, although I must admit that the polar bear made me groan ever so slightly. But I'm sure there's a reason for it which will unfold in time.

BBC-2 did run the Noah's Island cartoon recently. I watched 'Lost' because Dominic Monaghan (Merry in the 'Lord Of The Rings' trilogy) was in it, and it was improbable. I had to laugh because in the break they ran an ad for the current Kirsty MacColl best of, and 'Mambo A La Luna' on this has the lines: 'I know an island where the people are kind...' I picture the people on the trailer dancing to this now!

So is 'Lost' still gripping your attention ladies and gents? Saw about 5 minutes last night, boars in the plane... Is it keeping up to expectations? Cheers Prog Paul

Jacqui's in the process of downloading the first 4 episodes as she's missed the 3rd and 4th ones due to one thing and another. Still don't see the attraction myself

Did you know that Series 1 of Lost is now available in the USA on DVD.
Just in case anyone has a Region 1 DVD player you need not wait for the ending!! If anyone wants a set let me know - I know a man who knows a man......

I've utilised the internet to it's full capabilities/been a little bit underhand (delete where applicable) and managed to watch up to episode 14, with the rest of season 1 to be viewed over the weekend*. It's brilliant, I love it. ;D My instinct to stick with it has proved, for me, to be the right one. *note to self - get out more
