Aaah bliss! I do love a bit of men in uniform, tight white trousers and knee length leather boots, brandishing their weapons ;D On a more cultured note.........thoroughly enjoyed last night's and tonight's two parter thingy wotsit, lots of action, some seriously cool ways of killing people (nail through top of the head - bleurgh! ), Toby Stephens was the most evil-icious baddie! Scathing, sneering.....all good! I actually thought he was a better baddie in this than in Die Another Day (I'm sure it's nothing to do with the pony tail ) and Sean Bean with his designer streaked hair, all excellent stuff ;D Anyone else see it/like it?

Being a bit of a Sharpe anorak... (sorry!!).. Lived near Waterloo for a while and got into the books after picking one up on a trip to the battlefield memorial! I thought is was OK.. but... it was out of chronological sequence, half the story was knicked from a book very early in the series (I think!) and Mr Harper didn't seem to have aged a day!! But.. it was rather good wasn't it... Some fantastic one liners.. mostly with the word 'Bloody' in them... Loved the bit when they got out of the dungeon only to be faced by the Goon Squad.. "Just not our bloody day is it Pat?".... Had us chuckling.. well the boys and I.. cos the Tea Lady was up stairs.. (she doesn't like Sharp!!)... Umm sure that 'orrible Sgt bloke was a reincarnation of 'Hawksworth' or what ever his name was.... but he had to be there... heeeee.. Ohh and checkout that soundtrack.... from supreme songsmith John Tams, Someone has got to do a full blown heavy metal cover of that theme tune... (umm wonder if I can bribe Blue Steel?)... Thought the ending a tad cheesy even for Sharp... what ever next a trip to Trafalgar? (Well there is a book about it tha nowzz)... Right I'll get me coat... 'well my Green Jacket'.. I'm off now honest!! Cheers Prog "Can't Kill Me Sharpy" Paul

Yes that bit was a classic PP! ;D V funny I also thought the bit where Sharpe and Pat were pushing some cart along, only to be suddenly faced with gawd knows how many geezers yelling and waving their swords around (steady!) and Sean Bean just says "shit" was highly amusing! That sargeant was revolting Someone shoot his dentist! ;D
