Utter pap.
Only went because Amanda wanted to see it.
Na, it was alright actually. A bit unrealistic in parts, films about singing and dancing penguins are obviously the pinnacle of realism but as soon as there is an inperfection in the storyline it ruins it for everyone. As if a penguin would survive tropical waters.
Any other thoughts?
6.5/10 from me.

I took Bryony (my 9yr old daughter) to see this today.
Staying in to do housework seemed a more attractive alternative, but I forced myself to go and enjoyed it much more than I expected to,mainly because of the music -I'm a closet soul fan, but I'm in good company I think with the likes of Glenn Hughes and old DC himself!
The story line was of course complete fantasy, but was, I think thought provoking for the audience it was aimed at.
Don't make a special effort to go and see it, but, if you can "borrow" a child for the afternoon..... ;D

I saw a hoarding for this when I went to see 'Miss Potter'. 'What's YOUR Heart Song?' went the slogan.
'The one Gordon Giltrap recorded that was the theme tune to Holiday...', I thought. ;D

My sister borrowed the DVD for my niece, but they kept fast-forwarding bits.
Then again, she lets her watch 'Nip/Tuck' and 'Trauma'.
