There is also a new ARfm player available... check it out.
Word of warning tho - there is a limit on the number of listeners on this player until we are sure it is 100% OK.

Sorry you had some technical problems today, I know you've been working hard to sort this out with some success before the problem returned again. Up till this Sunday the system worked really well. I reported that it was like listening to a badly scratched CD, jumping, spluttering, hic-ups etc. Also lost sound in six to ten second bursts. After an hour things got back to normal and then the probs returned. I blame GMT to BST changes, wish they'd just leave our clocks alone! Good luck hope you get things fixed as we love to hear the usually high quality broadcast and content of the station. All the best!

Maybe you're right, tis grim up north! Seriously though, it is a shame when these DJs put so much effort into this and the technology gremlins strike. Paul Baker and crew handled the situation very professionally with good humour too. When it was temporarily fixed (well done to the techies) it was superb. They all deserve a pat on the back for keeping so cool. Arfm is the envy of certain other nervous radio stations who don't have the freedom to play what the listeners' want and request, oh, unless it just happens to be a golden oldie or firmly established act. I do hope those wizard techies can fix it properly as the Birmingham broadcasts are my personal favourite and ARfm really needs the geographical flexibility in order to attract good staff and guests from both ends of the country to maintain and grow their unique market position. I'be been supporting the shows since Decemebr 2004. Keep rockin' ARfm cos' music-mag writers and music lovers, like me, rely on you guys to hear new and exciting material that you just can't get easily elsewhere!
