Ok I know its a load of twaddle but this weeks episode could be fun. It turns out that Inspector Barnaby (played by John Nettles) is a wild man of rock n roll ...he used to play guitar in a blues band Barnaby reveals this little gem when Midsomer hosts a music festival, headlined by aging rockers Hired Gun... unfortunately the members of said band, played by Suzi Quatro, Phil Davis, Michael Angelis and James Cosmo are being murdered one by one. Friday 8.30pm ;D

I sat down to watch this but fell asleep after about 15 mins (cos I was tired, not cos it was boring! ;D) Just woken up so going to watch it now as I'd had a feeling I'd crash out (it's been one of those weeks ) so I recorded it. Archetypal stereotypes tho, Suzi clutching bottle of vodka - seems familar? ;D

Property must be dirt cheap in Midsommer, 6 bedroom detached house with double garage, out houses, swimming pool, x amount of acres all for £12000. The draw back, no insurance company will touch you, plus you have a life expectancy of about 2 months!! ;D ;D

I only watched this for Suzi Quatro. I usually resent Midsomer Murders (my mum likes John Nettles) as it clashes with something good on BBC-4, say a decent music documentary.
As soon as Suzi Quatro's character got bumped off, I turned over to BBC-2 for Room 101! I also noticed Roger Chapman playing at the festival in the show, and Geno Washington.
I wish the murderer had got Leona Lewis, Robbie Williams and the Scissor Sisters, as well as that Mika bloke! Radio Aire really got to me in the shop this weekend, as did one caretaker manager who called the volunteers 'vols' over the phone and said she'd rather have paid employees.
Phil Davis played a teacher in the movie 'Notes On A Scandal' too - since he played Smallweed in the recent Beeb adaption of 'Bleak House', I was hoping he'd say 'Shake me up, Judi!' to Judi Dench's character. ;D
