might find this interesting..... www.thebubbleburst.co.uk/Even has a section on Bagpuss, was it Shaggy who was Bagpuss obsessed (someone was?) when we discussed all those old children's progs? You can browse by era, and it also has a '70s & Before ' so Mr P might find something there too ;D

no i am not bagpuss obsessed but many have said that my parents persian cat looks not too dissimilar to it. I was obsessed by Penelope Pitstopp (it was the thigh length black boots)

I looked at this for information on Dangermouse! The branch of Remploy I go to has a red postbox by it, which makes me think of where Dangermouse and Penfold lived.
Whenever I see Tim Healy on TV, I always think he has a look of Baron Greenback!
