Wanna go and see this at some point, Looks quite good, mainly wanna go see it though cause the amazingly beautiful and talented JULIANNE MOORE is in it!
It also stars Nicolas Cage & Jessica Biel
In "Next," based on the Philip K. Dick story "The Golden Man," Nicolas Cage plays a man with the unique ability to see future events and affect their outcome.
Relentlessly pursued by the FBI, which is seeking to use his abilities to prevent a global terrorist threat, he is ultimately faced with the daunting choice of saving the world or the woman he loves.
you can probably find a trailer on youtube! but it does like quite good!

Con Air is a great film, great story, nice emotional storyline along with the action, you gotta admit it brings a tear to the eye at the end!
Fracture does look good, both Hopkins and Ryan Gosling are good actors, o and Rosamund Pike is in it so thats my eye candy quota met!

Yep the Garland Green character is brilliant Steve Buscemi was born for that part! Ryan Gosling has been in a few things building up a good reputation as an actor with drama based films, been in a few indie films you may not of heard of, think his biggest role/film was The Notebook. the Storyline to fracture does look good.... When Ted Crawford (Anthony Hopkins) discovers that his beautiful younger wife, Jennifer (Embeth Davidtz), is having an affair, he plans her murder...the perfect murder. Among the cops arriving at the crime scene is hostage negotiator Detective Rob Nunally (Billy Burke), the only officer permitted entry to the house. Surprisingly, Crawford readily admits to shooting his wife, but Nunally is too stunned to pay close attention when he recognizes his lover, whose true identity he never knew, lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Although Jennifer was shot at point blank range, Nunally realizes she isn't dead. Crawford is immediately arrested and arraigned after confessing - a seemingly slam-dunk case for hot shot assistant district attorney Willy Beachum (Ryan Gosling), who has one foot out the door of the District Attorney's (David Strathairn) office on his way to a lucrative job in high-stakes corporate law. But nothing is as simple as it seems, including this case. Will the lure of power and a love affair with a sexy, ambitious attorney (Rosamund Pike) at his new firm overpower Willy's fierce drive to win, or worse, quash his code of ethics? In a tense duel of intellect and strategy, Crawford and Willy both learn that a "fracture" can be found in every ostensibly perfect facade. .....but Rosamund Pike as a Sexy, ambitious attorney may be the cherry on top! Decent popcorn film, reminds me in parts of deja vu with denzel washington. It can be a bit confusing sometimes as Nic cage can see slighlty into the future and can replay events before the actual one happens so it does get a bit confusing!
But worth watching just For Julianne Moore she is excellent in everything i see her in, although the "eye candy" (thats bloke speak for lead female actress!) is Jessica Biel, she ain't a patch on Julianne who gets to flex her acting abilty instead of having to just be the romantic intrest and look good in a towel!
Nice throw away film, may leave some a little unsatisfied but its still a good film!

Eventually saw this film Next and it was very enjoyable, thank you for the recommendation. A highlight for me being the nonchalant way the reluctant hero guided the SWAT team. It also reminded me, as Woody mentioned, of the film Deja Vu.
If you enjoy this kind of Sci-Fi twist on the standard action/thriller/mystery, check out the Dead Zone series with Johnny Smith who can see into the past and future simply by touching people or objects. It is loosely based on a Stephen King novel.
