Just got back from seeing this film, it was *brilliant* Quite a lengthy film at around 2.5 hours ish I think, but it didn't seem like it. Slightly less comedy moments in this one (but still a fair few) and more of a *full* plot IMHO, interesting twist at the end. And for those Johnny Depp fans, some scenes where there's 20 odd Johnnys on screen at one time Can't be bad Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa (HTF do you spell that?) was fantastic again, he was born to play that part, must've been great fun hamming it up pirate stylee! It was erm............'challenging' shall we say, trying to watch it whilst wearing specs consisting of one ok lens, and one virtually smashed to smithereens lens (where moi in my guise as Ms Clumsy trod on the bloody things yesterday morning ;D : I have no doubt that I'll be seeing it again in the next couple of weeks - hopefully avec new bins! ;D Go see it!

Really wanna see this but I'm probably gonna leave it til next week, the cinema will be packed with it been half term. I think you spelled Barbosa almost right 1 s i think but not 100% sure.
had a similar experience only with contact lenses i was laughing so much during a film one of my contacts fell out, so i had to watch the film with DRUNK Vision or with one eye shut!
Just one question, don't say to much really looking forward to seeing it , but is Keith Richards in it? I'd heard rumours he was meant to have a small part playing Johnny Depp's dad?

He is in it, but not for long. I shall say no more I'll prob go and see it again on Wednesday (Orange Wednesday - hurrah! ;D) - I also heard that there's a bonus scene after the closing credits like there was in the last one. I bogged off at the end cos it was midnight FFS so I missed it

Zodiac is meant to be VERY good Janette, may go see it myself.
28 weeks later....my sister saw this last week she is still having nightmares she said its unrelenting and from what she's told me "Horrible" is probably a good description for the movie! She said the most Horrifying about it is its very realistic the way the film is done makes you believe "This Could Happen" which made her poop herself.

Finally saw this , this week! Really enjoyed it not sure if its as good as Dead man's chest though! Some great comedy moments & Keith Richards is good in it ( as we all know rock star cameo's /acting doesn't always turn out well!) although the ending completley surprised me i was expecting a sugary sacchrine and the all lived happily ever after, the ending was more bittersweet. Left completley wide open for another sequel, but i've not heard plans for this to happen though! Hans Zimmer's soundtrack is really cool for this too, some very ennio morricone moments i'm convinced one section of music is stolen from For A Few Dollars more!

I'm not sure you'll like this if your didn't enjoy the second one Lee, its more of the same, i'd only advise you see it if you wanna see how it concludes. some great visual effects!
