starts next Thursday at 10 on Virgin 1 (thank god i upgraded to freeview!) I've been really looking forward to this, it could be quite good! It Stars Lena Headey as Sarah Connor (British actress from 300,Brothers Grimm & The Cave!) Summer Glau is also in it from Firefly/Serenity.
At the end of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," Sarah vanquished the Terminator sent from the future to kill her teenage son, John. Sarah and John now find themselves alone in a very dangerous, complicated world. Fugitives from the law, they are confronted with the reality that still more enemies from the future, and the present, could attack at any moment.
TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES reveals what happens when SARAH (Lena Headey) stops running and goes on the offensive against an ever-evolving technological enemy bent on destroying her life, and perhaps the world. Her son, 15-year-old JOHN CONNOR (Thomas Dekker), knows that he may be the future savior of mankind, but is not yet ready to take on the mantle of leadership that he's told is his destiny. John finds himself inextricably drawn to CAMERON (Summer Glau), an enigmatic and otherworldly student at his high school, who soon proves to be much more than his confidante - she assumes the role of Sarah and John's fearless protector. On their trail are not only threats from the future, but an intelligent and tough FBI agent, JAMES ELLISON (Richard T.Jones), who soon becomes a powerful ally.
TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES represents an exciting reinvention of the "Terminator" franchise, in which the strong and intrepid Sarah discovers that protecting her son and stopping the rise of the machines is more difficult than she had ever imagined.

Very entertaining so far. Just a good job these Terminators don't have anything more sophisticated to eliminate our hero, than a hand-gun, else we'd have no story! I liked the fact that the female-shaped android had eyes that lit up blue, as opposed to the bad-rascal-robots, who looked like my fellow commuters on the 07.00 train with glowing red eyes! Mmhh, best be watchful, you can never be too safe eh? The mode of time-travel causes them to streak across the years!

Woody Yeah that female robot can kick arse, interesting how the character is developing... one miniute very cold and mechanical at other times almost human in aspirations.... Looks like fiction is becoming fact mate! See this link... www.theregister.co.uk/2008/04/11/us_war_robot_rebellion_iraq/

yeah, Cam is a great character, i like what the writers are doing with her! Obviously they need to make her more "Human" than the films in order for her to be intresting and for viewers to care about her. Think Terminator 2 was good in that it did try to Humanise the robot, so that you actually cared hence the dramatic ending.....

Thanks for telling us about it, nearly spilled my beer when my favourite character had err, car trouble. Those writers know how to keep us in suspense -rascals

Excellent series 2. They have really developed the character of Cameron, loved the way she went rogue (a chip on her shoulder perhaps) and the clashes of logic and almost human empathy that she goes through. In fact you can't help but feel something towards this character, she is in an impossible situation.
