Slashpuppet - No Strings Attached.
This is cracking sounding 80's hard rock, with a certain sleazy feel about it. Highly recommended
Audrey Horne - Le Fol.
A modern rock album, which is getting great reviews in the new Classic Rock magazine. To my ears, they also sound like Tool, which is no bad thing ;D

Lechery - Violator Saint Deamon - In Shadows Lost From The brave Both good albums, mate If you like them, try these 2............. Fraise - A New Begining. Very much like Saint Deamon but, in my opinion, better in every department Viron - Ferrum Gravis. This one is a cross between early Metallica(Ride The Lightning) and Anthrax(Spreading The Disease) but, with a better, and more powerful production, and a shit load of attitude!!

yeah both great albums Lee! I can't get Lechery's "I am The One" out of my head! The Lechery album has an old school metal vibe i really like & some memorable riffs, although it does get a bit samey in parts!
I'll check out, Fraise & Viron, not heard of these two so I'll have a mooch about on tinternet! getting into some heavier stuff recently, like Seven Tears ,love this album! although i think the impending 3 way AOR punch of Steve Lukather, Khymera & Work of art is gonna mellow me out at the end of the month!

I'm the same, mate!
My first love was always hard/melodic rock but, recently my tastes are definetly more towards the "heavier" stuff around.
Don't get me wrong, I'll always love your D2's, Warrant, Tyketto, Winger, etc etc....but, stuff like Edguy, Dream Evil, Pagans Mind, Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth, Testament etc etc, just seems to grab me more at the moment....weird, eh!!

With you on Pagan's Mind and your list has just reminded me I haven't heard Metallica's S & M for a while...
