Well its different...I`ll give it that. I agree with that one Liz... LOL ... for my personal tastes there is absolutely nothing on the Friday show that interests me ... however the headliners seems to have gone down well generally elsewhere ... so congratulations to the Firefest crew for putting together a diverse yet popular line up as always. Will still be there on Friday ( as can't get to Nottingham by bus and make the start of the Saturday show any otherway ) ... just might call it an early night to save my energy for a spectacular Saturday show. Still looking forward to the weekend though. See you there. Tez |

I'm greatly looking forward to seeing Stormzone, and I really like Demon. Very sad to hear they are calling it a day though after all those years. I wonder if the *certain* guitarist Janette mentioned might be making an appearance?  I don't know anything about the others, but it won't spoil my enjoyment! ;D |

I wonder if the *certain* guitarist Janette mentioned might be making an appearance? I met the chap in question at the Journey gig in Manchester and he is now a member of Limehouse Lizzy. My understanding is that all ties have now been severed and he will not be part of this finale. Steve |

I'm pretty ecclectic...nope IM VERY ecclectic! :-), and as it will be my first time that I will go to Firefest I am looking forward to it immensely. So I guess I won't know what I think until I get there what I think of anything...but that's all part of the fun of it for me I guess. :-)

More going from Hull, Eurorocker, Fat Boy Tim and Von. We are all attending both days, FBT and Von are stopping at the Crown Plaza, Eurorocker is at the Park. I'm looking forward to both days but I'll have to do some homework on a few of the bands. ;D ;D

We have tickets for both days, but we're not sure whether we'll be going on the Friday yet. The line up doesn't really appeal to us, apart from Stormzone and Threshold. We've been invited by friends to join them at the Hard Rock Cafe, so we'll be flitting between the 2  |

I've heard that the lead singer with Threshold has quit the band!
Will this affect their headlining show on the Friday?

I think they'll do it with the original singer like they have done in Europe. I don't think anything including the bands appearance can be confirmed until the guys behind Firefest have been in contact with the band. From what i can gather over on MR.com they are waiting for the band to return from their dates in Europe.
