Lee, the Stone Gods stuff Steve's been playing is really good, not what i was expecting from the ex-darkness, classic rock with decent vocals......especially "Where Your Coming From" which Steve played last week! Don't get me wrong I liked The Darkness, but i far prefer the vocal style the Stone Gods have....
Janette, I'm not that impressed with the new snake album myself, but "summer rain" is a beautiful song, has more of a Coverdale solo vibe to it than snake, but other than "All I Want All I Need" it ain't really that good to me, although i know i'm in the minority, i know most people are really impressed with it and it does merge the early 80's blues sound with the more commercial sound of the late 80's, so its kept a lot of people happy! just ain't gettting me juiced.....
