If you can't bear to watch the England / Portugal game, may I suggest three hours of classic and southern rock as a welcome distraction. Among the goodies to be aired this coming Saturday: Rainbow, Tytan, Z Z Top, Saxon, Asia, Thin Lizzy, Vardis, a cover of Donovan's Hurdy Gurdy Man by Steve Hillage, Samson, Todd Rundgren, The Nice's Lee Jackson & Brian Davison plus Patrick Moraz as Refugee and Bronz. The weekly review of Southern Rock and Outlaw Country, “Songs From The South” features: Derek Hicks & Blackfoot live, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Donna Hopkins, Copperhead, Rambler, Southland and more. April’s soft spot this week features a new CD single release from Korgis. And a sixteen minute live classic this week from Humble Pie. And don't forget the long COLD drink because it's going to be a hot day. 3 till 6pm British Summer Time.
