Ephrat are a new 4-piece progressive rock act from Israel. They have produced a superb album "No One's Words", it is one of those releases that does blend the modern with the traditional elements of prog rock. At times heavy and driving, others quiet and melodic, good tunes, great riffs blended with some considerable skill. Featuring special guests, Petronella Nettermalm (Paatos) and Daniel Gildenlow (Pain of Salvation) and with Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) doing the mixing, it is a superb progressive album. The 18 min 58 secs of the album closer "Real (Attempts 1-3)" is certainly going to be a contender for Long Track of the Year! ;D Awesome! To find out more you'll have to tune into ARfm Soundscapes on Sunday 3rd August 3-6pm or you could visit www.myspace.com/omerephratTa ta. Paul
