Hello friends,
I am very sad to announce that due to a very serious illness in my immediate family I will not be able to perform at Firefest this year. I really was looking forward to this show and did everything in my power to make it happen but in the end I realized that I really have no choice but to stay in the U.S. right now. We're staying positive about this and hope it will all come out alright, but for now my presence is needed by someone very dear to me. I'm sorry about any of you that already arranged to travel to Nottingham to see me and I intend to make it up to you in the near future.

FIREFEST PRESS RELEASE Sept 9th
Firefest regrets to announce that due to a very serious family illness Tony Harnell has been forced to cancel his scheduled performance at Firefest 5. Tony is extremely upset that he will be unable to attend and has asked that we express his extreme sadness that he will not be able to play for you. Tony had done his absolute best to make the show , but as with anything, family must come first. Tony will be updating his fans worldwide through his web site and my space , but , for now, we (Tony and Firefest) would ask that his privacy is respected and we send him and his family our best wishes during this very worrying time.
