surprised this ain't been mentioned yet anywhere, but for those who ain't got the new issue of Fireworks yet heres a quote from Bruce's editorial regarding FFV DVD's............

"The Intention was also to shoot DVD's for many of the acts at this years Firefest. However, with both Headline acts pulling out of the proposed deal, it became clear that it was no longer financially viable to continue with this plan. so with much regret we have had to cancel the video shoot. However, there should still be several live albums recorded on the day. and again, we would appreciate your support."

Not good news at all

I think you might find this has since been superceded. You must remember that Fireworks goes to press WEEKS before it appears on sale. Since then, my understanding is that the filming will take place (this was verbally confirmed to me by Kieran last week).

I also seem to recall Bruce confirming this on MR.com

ahhh i see, excellent news i did find the statement odd given that the annoucement about Mitch Malloy's DVD was not long ago , didn't catch Bruce's post on MR.com.....
