Don't forget that votes must be in by 23.59 on Christmas Eve.... And if you don't vote, you'll only have yourself to blame when Chinese Democracy takes album of the year ;D

Favorite new band of 2008 H.E.A.T ;D and Eclipse Eclipse aren't a new band m8, they've been around since 1999, releasing their 1st album The Truth And A Little more on Z Records in 2001.

Best music DVD of 2008 Harem Scarem or Valentine at Firefest ............................................ Welcome to the board, mate I was a bit disappointed by both of these DVDs. Both left me a bit cold. By that I mean both bands just seemed to be going through the motions.....no emotion from either band

Hi, The reason I said Eclipse is because of myspace, Im only finding out about some bands now, I probably havent heard much about them in the past, or read anything about them at all, ive only taken notice about them from arfm, maybe i should spend more time reading everything about them first! anyway its taken 7 years for me to hear them, and i love them!, so thanks to ARFM for that.

I'm late with these due to illness, but here's mine so far:
Best release of 2008: The Old Road (Martin Orford) Cinematograaf (Tomas Bodin) Tall Ships (It Bites)
Best Reissue of 2008: 1970/75 Box Set (Genesis)
Turkey Of The Year Mamma Mia! (okay, it's a movie, but one of my least favourite experiences of the year was sitting in a cinema watching a bunch of shrieking luvvies murdering Abba songs when all I wanted to do was go home and mourn the loss of Rick Wright.)
Sprouts: Miss.
