a couple of tracks can have that' hook you in' factor..... but ten seemed like a nice number really..... I agree with you Boatman..you cant get a real feel for an artists work just by listening to two tracks..however good you believe them to be. Your 10 track list is a good idea as it gives a chance to show the range/diversity/style of the band in question

I've never had the pleasure of seeing him play live, tho I can imagine he'd be awesome. Love his guitar playing

[glow=red,2,300] BAD INFLUENCE [/glow] OK I know no-one on 'ere has prob ever heard of 'em, but I love them! Featuring Harry James and Chris Childs from Thunder, the fantastic Val Cowell on vocals and Richard Heyes on guitar.......they are kind of 'blues/rock' or 'rock/blues' (sorry, just having a Spinal Tap moment). They play a lot of covers ranging from Tom Petty to Dixie Chicks, ZZ Top to Delbert McClinton, Fleetwood Mac to John Fogerty, Rory Gallagher to Bonnie Raitt blah blah. Also do some of their own numbers which are brill! Check 'em out on www.myspace.com/badinfluenceorg.uk1. I Won't Back Down 2. Mercury Blues 3. Love Comes Tumbling Down 4. Piece of My Heart 5. Standing On My Own (featuring Danny Bowes on guest vocals) 6. Keep Your Hands To Yourself 7. One Way Love 8. Almost Saturday Night 9. Secret 10. Sugar Mama oops I can't count 11. Not The Only One 12. Bad Desire It's a brilliant night out if they play near you!

well my old glam band that can only be mentioned here by it's initials - SCB had some classics that were instantly hummable
1. Dogging In The Car Park 2. Cherry Popping 3. Robot Sex Slave 4. Stocking Fillers And Passion Killers (the name of our never released album)** 5. Don't wipe It On The Curtains 6. Matching Collar And Cuffs 7. Paper Trails 8. My Girlfriend's Beard 9. Frankfurter Mary 10. No More Raisins For The Teacher (Since My Rabbit Died)
** basically cos we all got drunk in the pub on the money we had saved for the studio time. But hey, that's rock n roll. And during this boozefest I fired the rest of the band when the drummer beat me at pool.
