SYNOPSIS Film about the famous 1977 TV interview between the disgraced former president, Richard Nixon, and television personality David Frost.
‘Frost/Nixon’ takes us through the weeks of negotiations between the two camps, as deals are stuck and secrets revealed, leading up to the historic event. Will Nixon outfox his interviewer and save his legacy, or will Frost demand accountability and give the waiting world the truth?
Directed by: Ron Howard Starring: Frank Langella, Michael Sheen, Kevin Bacon, Sam Rockwell Film running length: 122 min UK release date: 23/1/2009 Saw this earlier on today in a free preview jobbie. I went along expected to be bored stiff (only went cos it was free ;D), but I was surprisingly erm........surprised! The film was very interesting, and had some really good black humour. I vaguely remember Watergate but only as a child, and even when this interview went out in the late 70s I wasn't at all interested, I hate politics and never ever listen to/watch anything remotely political usually! However, this film kept my attention and I really enjoyed it Gotta say the two lead actors were really good and utterly believable as who they were (IMHO anyway ;D) If that sort of thing is your bag, go and see it, if it ain't your bag, try it anyway - you never know, you may even enjoy it like I did

This is meant to be a great film , i'll probably see it at some point. I believe the film is about the famous interview , build up & personalities involved as opposed to a political film purely about watergate, wouldn't normally bother with something like this but its meant to be very good!

That's right Woody, its about all that (as I quoted in the synopsis ) - I only mentioned Watergate as it's what I associate Nixon with I think you may enjoy it.
