Lots of goodies on the programme tomorrow, I hope you can join me.
In Classic Rock terms Paul Kossoff in his Back Street Crawler days, King Crimson from 2003, Tommy Bolin and a cut from Private Eyes, Thin Lizzy to celebrate the first anniversary of Philip’s statue in Dublin plus back 2 back live classics from Ozzy and Black Sabbath (Ronnie James Dio era).
As for Southern, more from Neil (Copperhead) Carswell’s awesome debut solo album ‘Good Man’s Journey’, Doc Holliday, the late Danny Joe Brown, Laidlaw from The Foam Box Sessions, Corey Smith (I promise this week) and Southern Mercy and more.
On the ‘more’ side, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts take on The Sweet’s AC/DC, Mostly Autumn (even though we’re still in summer), Mo Foster, Brand X (Moroccan Roll) and a couple of tracks from Dean Rees’s debut albut Sweet Felicity Arkwright… HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
April’s soft spot this week features Lynyrd Skynyrd.
