What is it with that forum  I've never seen a forum full of such pretentious, self opinionated w*****s  Every single thread turns into a slanging match, with the same people getting involved, with my brother being one of them, I'm sad to say So glad we've got this forum  |

agree 100% & then just when you think it`s all over somebody else posts something & off they go again, why people feel the need to be rude to others on the net (or anywhere else for that matter) is beyond me |

yeah,it's getting a bit out of hand over there isn't it.the persecution on a certain individual has left a sour taste in my mouth.it started out being funny but deteriorated into a bloody witch hunt  |

There are times when I feel Andrew needs to take more control over some of the people who post there....but when he did that last time it turned into a witchunt on him. LOL
Unfortunately, there are too many anal posters on mr.com who feel they have a right to use his board for whatever they please.
Conversely, we have to edit very few posts on here cos you are a nice bunch! We only tend to take out posts/edit them when they deem to promote other radio stations and I hope everyone see that as fair.

It's dammed annoying to be honest,the artist specific message boards on there are just as bad.I know of other Survivor fans who won't post because inevitabily the Bickler or Jamison argument takes over any thread.Long may it stay civil in these here parts.

Yep, agreed. Here good, there bad I have to say it's so refreshing to come onto a forum where people are actually nice to each other. Nothing wrong with a few fruity opinions, but people on so many other forums resort to personal attacks rather than logical argument. Well done ARfm and well done us! |

I can count on one hand the times i,ve posted over there (bunch of tossers in general) here how ever .......lovely people one and all ;D ;D Ditto Dean and totally agree with everyone!  I've never seen so much negativity as over there, specially from one person in particular, *every* post from that individual is negative It's nice and cosy in 'ere , and even if peeps don't necessarily agree, at least they express their opinions in a polite and friendly manner and don't just negate a post for no reason! (dunno if that's good English LOL but am I bovvered?  ;D) Long live *here*! |

Fewer (active) members here and so it's more personal and like a family? I know famillies fight, but a lot of the time you just bite your tongue and carry on don't you?! ::)I do sometimes post on MR but mostly I get ignored which suits me fine -the rest of the time I just sneak in to rubberneck at the posts. If MR was on TV it would be the Jeremy Kyle show! |

I see LJC and my brother have been getting to know each other!! ah well you know, i just got sick to death of em, thinking they rule the roost & can be as rude as they want to whoever they want, i know i shouldn`t have said anything but sometimes it`s gotta be done, i know for a fact tho nothing will change which is a shame because it`s a great place to go for music news, it`s just some of the posters on there spoil it (& yeah i know i`m now one of them but it`s the first & last time) since saying my piece i`ve had emails & pm`s from all corners , board users, people who won`t use the board because of these people, even some of the musicians that frequent the noticeboard, it seems a lot of people have been feeling what i decided to say for a long long time, Andrew really should be more hands on, i`d be horrified if people on my forum replied to each other in that manner |

Yeah, it's something else over there. I post a bit, but not too terribly much.
One thing I find funny is when a band who hasn't put an album out in 15 years gets criticized for abandoning their "classic" sound...how do you establish a "classic" sound off of one album that never even went gold back in the day?? LOL!
