So, there I was getting the hair clippers ready to cut my hair. Hold on I thought, they need a clean so while I was getting ready, Jacqui gave them a clean. When they were done, I ambled over, picked up the clippers and proceeded to start cutting my hair. Without looking I put them to my hair and, whoosh, they went through like a hot knife through butter. Jesus, I thought, that clean's done them the world of good. Only then did I take a look in the mirror.....Holy shit....I had a big, nearly bald patch, running right down the centre of my head!! I'd only forgotten to put the attachement onto the clippers  There was only one thing I could do. Yep, shave the whole lot off! When it was done I looked like I was auditioning for a part in the film, Full Metal Jacket ;D You know what tho'.......I'm getting used to it now  Any of you lot had any major cock up' or mishaps? |

You'll find it's a handy hair cut to have tho Lee. I've cut my hair like that twice in the past thru choice, just took a notion. And ya never know i might do it again one day.

Have to say I've avoided such dramas so far, but there's always a first time!
One of my mates (who cut his own hair) did it but, somehow, didn't realise. So he walked around with a big furrow on his head until someone pointed it out. I promise I didn't laugh...

There was only one thing I could do. Yep, shave the whole lot off! I have seen the pic as posted elsewhere by Jacqui, I hadn't realised it was an accident Lee! I did the same thing to my other half once, when I'd nearly finished doing his hair and took the trimmer guide thingy off to do around his ears etc.....then thought I'd give it the once over again just to make sure I'd not missed anywhere....only I hadn't put the guide back on and he ended up with a "stripe" LOL As you say, the only thing you can do is shave the lot (And he hasn't got that much to start with bless 'im  ) He was philosophical about it, but our daughter who was only about 2 at the time was a bit unsure at first! Talking of cock ups though.....I once bought some of those anti-perspirant wipes as I thought they would be useful when travelling....but then, foolishly, left them where I keep my eye-make up cleansing wipes....OUCH!!!!  There was also a time when I nearly put nail glue in my eye instead of eye drops  ...and then there was the time I perforated my eardrum..... |
