Hard to believe that 17 months ago Juicy Lucy 2005, Ray Owen vcls/gtr, Mr Fish lead gtr, Fletch drms plus manager & former band member James Morris '5th member' sat with me in the East Grinstead Studio (minus bassist Fudge who was nursing the flu) talking about the band's relaunch at the 12th Celtic Warriors Birthday Bash and presenting us with a live recording to boot.
The 'Walking Down The Highway' tour named after the b side of the 1970 chart single 'Who Do You Love' was about to start... and it's still going!
Not only that but in that time they somehow released a live EP 'Raiding The Fruit Bowl' and recorded and released a new studio album, the first in 12 years, 'Do That And You'll Lose It' in between dates headlining and supporting Nazareth.
I'll be catching up with Mr Fish and James this Saturday and we'll be talking about the rejuvenated Juicy Lucy on the road and in the studio.
Please join me for the Saturday Soccer Solution (I know, it's a bit borrowed but The Classic Rock Show needed a 'Spring clean') this Saturday live between 15:00 & 18:00 UK time.
