Hi All, Many thanks for the birthday wishes... I had a good day... Complete with a simply marvelous meal cooked by Char & Metal Shane... But not sure about sampling ALL six of the single malts in one sitting tho.. well some were nicer than others so had to be sampled a little more!!  Cheers Paul B |

Paul. Happy fhgurey-ish birthday! Sorry it's a little late. You know how it is. Apparently us Taureans are a bit laid back. I'll get around to it next week etc . . . Or maybe that's just me. These damned nips. They taste good at the time (some of them). My theory is you shouldn't get them in small amounts because you think, "it's nothing, I can handle it." And there's the problem. I think you should get a half pint at the start of the night!!  SynthBruce |

Well Bruce, my problem would be half a pint of which one... My collection is growing, each time we visit Scotland I seem to bring back something different... well a different whiskey anyway.. Collection currently stands at, Glenkinchie, Dalwhinnie, Oban, Ben Nevis, Talisker & Laphroaig.... ;D ;D Oh and the Tea Lady would like to visit Islay later this year and I've managed to find a cottage that is actually in the 'grounds' of the local distillery.. umm... sounds like a result to me!! ;D Cheers Paul B  |
