Midlands Rocks, is hoping to become the first stop on all things Rock & Metal in the Midlands! With a comprehensive gig calender including all genre's and venue's in the Midlands, and hopefully LIVE reviews of as many gigs a humanly possible! No band too small no band to big!
Hopefully as the site grows it may branch out into interviews / album reviews BUT it's main priority is as a gig guide & LIVE review site!
So Bands if your playing ANY venue in the midlands get in touch with the MR team so we know and can hopefully cover it!
Now the site is still very new and still needs to build its contributing team weather it be photo's or reviews, so this is where you fans can help....
Their is no money involved & no free shit! it's purely for the love it, but the site wants to have a "for the fans by the fans" feel so if your interested in donating reviews get in touch or if you know anyone doing a journalism course who would like to use the site as experience and to build up a public body of work tell em to get in touch with Midlands Rocks....
Now , i've been asked to help out with the odd review here and there so you know they ain't looking for perfection or even a firm grasp of the english language...so if you think it sounds like fun get in touch or even if you wanna do it help further a career or kickstart a career in journalism!
Remember all venues and sub-genere's covered so if you know anyone who may be interested but doesn't frequent this site give em a head up!
