We had lots of e-mails at the weekend asking if we were going to make the Firefest broadcast available for download/podcast etc, and also asking us what is happening...so here's the deal....
John Richards will be live from 10am - 1pm (he gets an extra hour this weekend and we are sure he will give it a Firefest tinge)
From 1pm: Paul Chamberlain, April and Joe Dray will be in command of proceedings at the Southern end of ARfm (HQ) whilst Steve Price (that's me) and Allee Martell will be interpolating with live interviews from Rock City of all the bands playing FF plus any other people we can drag into ARfm's studio within Rock City (e.g. John Parr has promised to drop by...so expect the unexpected)
The whole show will be repeated twice during the week (times to be confirmed).
Individual interviews will be available as soon as possible from the ARfm download page - please allow time for this as we have to edit these out in our own time and we all have day jobs.
Legally, under the terms of our UK licence, we are NOT allowed to podcast the whole show...in whole or in parts. We would have to pay double our existing fees to do so and we can't afford it.
If we can find a legal way around this we will let you know.
