Yes, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, cats and dogs...it's that time of year again, where instead of wondering what to get Aunt Gertie for Christmas, you can spend hours pondering the answers to lifes more important questions.... Who gets to be awarded the fourth most prestigious accolade in rock*.. a Messie! The Categories are: Best New Release - (choose 3 in this category) Best Reissue
Best DVD
Best Gig
Favorite New Band
Favorite Old Band
Best Performance by an Artist at Firefest
Star Of The Year
Turkey Of The Year
Favorite type of biscuit As usual, please send your votes to me (Nick from Cheshire) by private message. Closing date is midnight on 24th December (just before Santa arrives ), and the results will be posted as soon as possible after that! Oh, and just one tiny additional rule after last years enthusiastic but misguided attempt to rig the vote..... only votes from people with active accounts on this site prior to midday today will be counted! And no, the multiple accounts created last year don't count *the first three being a Grammy, a recording contract, and an interview with Steve Price
