...turns up in the strangest places!! While flicking through TV channels in the early hours of this morning, as you do I heard the unmistakable melted-chocolate-spine-tingling voice. Singing on the soundtrack of a film, which I kept watching for a while....it was an Emmanuel film!! I didn't recognise the tracks (There were at least three) so I don't know if they were specially done for it...but it was a surprise!! LOL ;D

Oh yeah....the ol' "Accidentally watching an Emmanuel film" story!
It never worked for me as an excuse so how do you get away with it?

I was the only person in the room who was awake! and anyway, I can't see what all the fuss is about! It was only slightly more rude than a Carry-On film imo! In fact I carried on doing my knitting, that's how riveting it was!

Speaking of good music in strange places, I once heard 'Sombrero' by Anthony Phillips on the Victoria Wood 'All-Day Breakfast Show', which must have been the best bit of a mediocre effort from Wood! 'The Anthem From Tarka' has also been on 'Surprise Surprise' - which was a surprise to me as I reckon the show was aimed at people who think Phil Collins wrote 'Groovy Kind Of Love'.
