A Legend in every sense of the word. Amazing singer and down to earth bloke. His Songs will stand as the founding stone of metal for many generation - Long Live Rock N' Roll - R.I.P Dio

I agree. Dio had a voice that could soar, blast or be a lullaby and the reason why I got into metal and rock in the first place. (After hearing, Mob Rules at 13 yrs of age.) In a day and age where anyone it seems is labelled as a 'star', he was a true artist and the world of rock has one less legend in its midst.
Ronnie James Dio. R.I.P.

I was really sad when I read it online that he'd died. The Mirror said damn all about it and publicised some red-necked writer's facial peel. Elsewhere there was a painfully worthy interview with someone out of Coronation Street who conveniently had breast cancer when her character in the soap had it. I asked if she was going to stand in for Dio on the Heaven & Hell slot at High Voltage, but nobody understood. You can replace any old soap actress but you'll never replace Ronnie James Dio. I found the promo for 'Love Is All' from Roger Glover's 'Butterfly Ball' on YouTube later on.
